Born of God

Eve was hewn from the substance of Adam's rib.
She became a companion and friend to Adam.

In like manner we are hewn
from the substance of the Father's Heart called Love.

We became as it were Thy children born of the Father's Spirit.

Thus He has shaped us by His Divine Nature
and we have become His Everlasting Bride, Companion and Friend.

I sing with joy and thanksgiving
unto the Lord from whom I have been hewn.
