I see the Light,
the dazzling Light of the City of God shining brightly from afar.

And it beckons me, beckons me to come.

My heart does yearn with groaning
to enter its glorious gates and pass through to the Everlasting Paradise of God.

Oh its colors do shine and its light so bright our natural eyes it would be blind.
Its purity so pure like a great crystal it sparkles.

Oh come all ye faithful, whose hearts are filled with love
who have the diadem of everlasting hope on their heads,
enter its gates of everlasting joy.
