Give God the first fruits

Render your alms unto the poor.

Do not attempt to give your alms to God.

God is your King.

It is acceptable to give, used merchandise and what money you have left over, to the poor.

Do not turn God's Kingdom into a secondhand store by giving God your leftovers in the place of your tithes and offerings.

This is what Cain did.

Abel gave the first fruits, the finest and his best, to God.

Cain gave what he had leftover.

Abel's gift was received.

Cain's offering was refused!
