Turn to the Lord in prayer

In this day of darkness, where shall you turn, but to the Lord in prayer?

When you find yourself amidst a wicked and perverse people, where shall you turn, but to the Lord in prayer?

Jesus said, "My house is a house of prayer."

When all hope seems gone, pray to the One who is the Source of all hope.

He that prays, and prays, and prays shall be like an oasis in the midst of a desert.

Does the oasis look at the dry desert around it and say "Alas I am surrounded by dryness?"
