Tarry awhile and walk with the Lord.

Reference: Exodus 23:12 "Six days you are to do your work, but on the seventh day you shall cease from labor so that your ox and your donkey may rest, and the son of your female slave, as well as your stranger, may refresh themselves.

Find a quiet place and get alone with the Father in secret.
Reference: Psalm 31:20 You hide them in the secret place of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues.

Lay aside all your earthly cares and you will find a solace there.
Reference: Ezekiel 34:12 "As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day.

Yea, there are many among His children, who are afraid to lay down their burdens even for a moment, lest they could not pick them up again.
Reference: Luke 19:21 for I was afraid of you, because you are an exacting man; you take up what you did not lay down and reap what you did not sow.'

So through their lives they go carrying their heavy burdens, racing to and fro, never at rest do they know.
Reference: Deuteronomy 12:10 "When you cross the Jordan and live in the land which the LORD your God is giving you to inherit, and He gives you rest from all your enemies around you so that you live in security,

Never do they stop and ask, "Why am I doing all this?" The peace of God they will forever miss.
