This world is not your home.

You are just a pilgrim passing through.

A pilgrim does not entangle himself with the affairs of the nations he passes through.
Reference: 2 Timothy 2:4 No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so that he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier.

Instead, his mind thinks only of the distant land toward which he is traveling.

You are in this world, but you are not of it.

You are citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.

Set your affections on the things above, where Jesus sits on the Right Hand of God.
